These owls are protected species and are unique
in that they have brown\sienna\cream feathers
vermiculite that no other owl species possess.
A challenge to paint. This carving is half size as
the full size bird is 16 to 20 inches in height.

 (leaves painted brass) are on the base.
The base is a unique piece found driftwood
that resembles a marine mammal
(killer whale).

tape to put the
piece back on.  Do
the second cut.

Method 2:
Partly band saw the
first side leaving it
attached.  Cut the
second cut and
use a knife to
release the first
piece
